Job Description:
Duties: Plans, designs, and ensures execution of appropriate
automation suites, including test plans, scenarios, data requirements,
cases, and scripts. Supports ATM Selenium framework. Evaluates
automation opportunities within key product areas in the asset management
and wealth management environment. Implements automation solutions for
fixed income applications. Primary Responsibilities: • Performs code reviews and formal reviews of application
designs, business, and functional requirements. • Defines and implements quality process improvements focused
on defect prevention. • Ensures test environment reflects business requirements for
test execution. • Assists in development of in-house test tools. • Coordinates test schedules, work assignments, and resource
plans. • Mentors junior team members and provides technical
guidance. • Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. • Responsible for meeting project goals on-time and
on-budget. • Maintains status of project and monitors activities of team
members. • Acts as a primary liaison for business units to resolve
various project/technology issues. • Provides technical leadership on analysis, design, coding,
testing, problem resolution, and planning. • Works directly with the user community for project
definition. • Develops original and creative technical solutions to
on-going development efforts. • Analyzes and reports overall test status and results. • Identifies and resolves test issues. • Performs risk analysis at project management level. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5)
years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience
architecting test automation frameworks for end-to-end software applications
within an asset and wealth management environment; Or, alternatively,
Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science,
Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics,
Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the
job offered or three (3) years of experience architecting test automation
frameworks for end-to-end software applications within an asset and wealth
management environment. Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise
(“DE”) performing DevOps continuous integration, including source
control management, using Jenkins, git stash, and uDeploy, within
Waterfall and Agile development environments; DE performing automated testing
of brokerage and trading applications, including trade processing,
netting and settlement, and security offerings, using QTP, SoapUI,
VeriFIX, and financial protocols (FIX and Swift messages); and performing
manual testing of Bloomberg trade processing and trade offering functions; DE
designing and developing automation frameworks and performing regression
testing, using UFT automation tools and data reusability analysis; and
preparing test data for automated test cases; DE programming using VB
Script, jQuery, Groovy Script, Oracle, SQL, and Excel macros to perform
