Job Description:

Duties: Reporting to the Director of Global Data Services Implementations,

the analyst will manage fixed income index implementations; provide

detailed analysis of index data and calculations; translate business needs

and data requirements into actionable items; and, support day-to-day

operational activities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage fixed income index (at constituent level) implementation

projects of medium and large size /complexity. Includes the following:

• Participation in formulation of project scope and objectives.

• Creation of project timeline and project plan to monitor progress

against defined deliverables.

• Participate in requirement sessions and perform advanced

requirement analysis on fixed income index needs. Recommended business

requirements and/or data requirements based on analysis.

• Define and execute test plans and support user acceptance testing.

• Own relationship between Portfolio Data Services (PDS) and fixed

income organization. Act as fixed income Subject Matter Expert for the PDS

team.

• Contribute to Fixed Income strategy for transitioning fixed income

sourcing to PDS.

• Responsible for Fixed Income (FI) data quality management, FI

monthly index release process, FI feed management, FI related

questions/issues into PDS Help Desk.

• Recommend process enhancements for the efficient, accurate and

timely completion of all operations activities to support index data

management and implementation. This includes: data loading, quality

checks, and reporting.

• Develop strong, daily working relationships and in-depth business

knowledge of PDS customers and business partners including Performance

Attribution, Investment Management and Reporting, Fixed Income, Data

Management Services, Compliance and PDS Systems.

• Identify advanced data issues, perform root cause analysis and

resolve data quality issues.

• Respond to complex ad-hoc data analysis requests, clearly interpret

business question and communicate meaningful results.

• Research market, industry and index changes and document business

and customer impact.

• Respond, manage and document client requests for new data.

• Participate in the definition and documentation of customer and

vendor Service Level Agreements

• Maintain operational policies & procedure and production support

documentation.

Requirements: Master of Science degree in Business Administration,

Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Information Technology, or Financial

Engineering (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) as well as two

(2) years experience in job offered or two (2) years experience in the

design of an information technology platform, including business

requirements, analysis, definition, and documentation or, alternatively, a

Bachelor of Science degree and 5 years experience as noted above.

Experience must include: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) utilizing market data

tools (Yield Book) to conduct fixed income securities analysis and

construct fixed income indices; DE performing fixed income quantitative

analytics including spreads, yields, duration measures and convexity; DE

utilizing relational data modeling technique to design conceptual, logical

and physical data models in an Oracle/SQL server environment, and

integrating investment data across multiple platforms. [Expertise may be
