Job Description:

Duties: Will serve as a key member on the Insight OMS development team,

supporting the new real-time, high volume and scalable, Order & Execution

Management System. Insight OMS implements the core of the Equity Trading

business processes, including customizable workflows, large volume

transactions, 24x7 availability, and ease of integration with external

systems

Primary responsibilities:

(1) Technical Oversight

• Participate in Fidelity Trading product line architecture

discussion. Review/recommend and implement technical architecture for

Insight OMS project aligned to recommendations.

• Work with project teams across trading product line to make sure

they are aligned to technical roadmap, follows architectural recommendation

and ensure design, coding standards are followed.

• Participate and contribute in cross group technology meetings

• Perform technical and functional analysis to provide business

solutions required for Insight OMS project.

(2) Technology mentor

• Assist team members on architecture, design, technology.

• Assist team members to achieve technology excellence.

• Assist team members on day to day basis to achieve faster and

efficient project deliveries.

(3) Technology, individual contributor.

• Implement functional module for Insight OMS project.

• Define system interrelation of trading system and deliver accurate

and sustainable solutions.

• Develop a real-time data/event distribution system for Insight OMS

project using GFE

• Define and implement deployment model for Insight OMS project.

• Develop new Trading UI required for Traders for trade management

and execution.

• Provide support for user acceptance, unit level testing and

integration testing.

• Develop/support Java based automation framework for Insight OMS

project.

• Provide clear and concise documentation for the above activities.

(4) Agile Team lead and members

• Facilitate agile practices in project team.

• Manage logistics required for running agile team, manage issues and

dependencies.

• Help team members to focus and deliver products iteratively.

Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science,

Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics (willing to accept foreign education

equivalent) and 5 years of experience in job offered or 5 years of

experience designing and implementing real-time trading and trading

analytics applications within an equity investment environment. Experience

must include: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) in GUI development using Eclipse-

RCP and thin client application development using HTML5, Groovy on Grails,

Java Script/Jquery; DE in building and tuning performance of trading

applications (middle-tier, real-time and multi-threaded Java applications)

using Hibernate and Spring frameworks, Tibco EMS, AMQP, Spring remote,

Dynatrace, Jprofiler and Jconsole; DE developing a GUI with real-time

analytics and data display using caching systems -- Gemfire RTE and

Gemfire GFE.
