Job Description Job Description We are looking for an
experienced Director of Accounting to lead and oversee financial
operations within our organization. This role requires a highly
skilled individual with a strong background in accounting
practices, financial reporting, and audits. The ideal candidate
will ensure all financial activities align with company goals and
regulatory standards. Responsibilities: • Manage month-end close
processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data. •
Oversee the implementation and use of BlackLine software to
streamline accounting workflows. • Lead financial statement audits,
coordinating with external auditors to ensure compliance. • Prepare
and review comprehensive financial reports for internal and
external stakeholders. • Develop and enforce accounting policies
and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance. • Provide
strategic guidance on financial matters to support organizational
decision-making. • Supervise and mentor the accounting team,
fostering growth and development. • Collaborate with
cross-functional teams to optimize financial operations. • Monitor
and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for
improvement. • Ensure adherence to all applicable accounting
standards and regulations.• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
designation is required. • Extensive experience with month-end
close processes and financial reporting. • Proficiency in using
BlackLine software for accounting operations. • Strong background
in managing financial statement audits. • Excellent knowledge of
accounting principles and regulatory requirements. • Proven
leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team. •
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate
effectively. • Strong analytical skills to assess financial data
and improve processes.
