Constellation, a leader in energy provision, is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to oversee the effective management and operation of our utilities services during assigned shifts. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless production and distribution of energy (including natural gas and renewables) while maintaining stringent safety and quality standards. Our ideal candidate is not only adept in operational oversight but is also committed to sustainability and innovation in energy management. Supervise and coordinate the activities of operational staff during shifts. Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards in energy production and distribution. Monitor and manage energy production and distribution to maintain efficiency and meet demand. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the shift swiftly and effectively. Provide training and support to shift personnel to ensure operations run smoothly. Coordinate with other shift managers and departments to ensure optimal operation of the facility. Report on shift activities, including any incidents or challenges, ensuring transparent and effective communication across the company. Implement and advocate for energy management solutions and innovations that increase efficiency and sustainability. Strong leadership and management skills Excellent organizational and communication skills Proficiency in operations management software and tools Deep understanding of the energy sector, including production, distribution, and regulatory environment Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make decisions quickly Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Energy Manager (CEM) preferred OSHAS 18001 or ISO 45001 safety management qualification
