Job Description Job Description Job Title: Cleanroom Assembler Job Description The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling high-quality medical devices while working within a controlled (clean, sterile, medical-grade) manufacturing area. Responsibilities Process polymer materials to compose, test, or apply on medical devices per approved manufacturing procedures. Assemble plastic and metal components into medical devices in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures. Perform in-process quality checks on subassemblies and finished products. Utilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, and microscopes. Participate in line meetings as needed. Work with engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and suggest improvements. Maintain cleanroom integrity by using proper attire and adherence to cleanroom environment practices and procedures. Maintain accurate records/documentation related to quality, work in progress, test results, labor, and special projects. Apply workstation practices and line clearance in daily activities. Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies and procedures, QSR, and FDA regulations. Essential Skills Attention to detail and hand dexterity. Ability to learn and be trained on new skills and equipment. Experience with cleanroom environments, medical device assembly, or manufacturing is preferred. Microscope experience is preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to work with small plastic and metal components. Capability to maintain production levels in a high-volume manufacturing setting. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role requires working in a cleanroom environment, necessitating the wearing of PPE all day. The dress code is business casual, with a professional and clean-cut culture. Jewelry, makeup, eyelash extensions, fake nails, perfumes, or colognes are not allowed. The first shift runs from 7 am to 3:30 pm, and the second shift is from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm. A 5-7 week training period is provided.A Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danvers, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.20/hr.
