Senior Control Systems Engineer Summary: The Bose Audio Technology
Licensing group is looking for a Senior Controls Engineer to help
develop low-latency, real-time noise-cancellation algorithms using
advanced feedback control techniques. This role sits within a new
and rapidly growing division focused on building partnerships
across a wide range of industries to unlock new opportunities for
deploying Bose technologies. As a key member of a cross-functional
team, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and
external partners to bring innovative noise-cancelling solutions to
market. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and test control
systems for noise cancelling headphones Lead and work with a team
of cross functional engineers to provide solutions for our
customers Conduct and oversee electroacoustic measurements and
perform analysis of results Investigate and develop control system
designs and tools to achieve product performance requirements Use
simulation tools to predict noise cancellation performance
Productize algorithms for new headphone capabilities using inputs
from a variety of sources and sensors Clearly communicate results
through peer reviews and external customer-facing engagements
Collaborate with external engineering partners to develop and
validate noise cancellation algorithms to meet product performance
requirements Collaborate with Audio Technology Business Development
and Product Management teams to support early technical engagements
with new partners Qualifications: (minimum requirements) BS in
Acoustical, Mechanical, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering. MS or
PhD preferred. 5 years of industry experience in area of control
systems design Experience using various techniques for robust data
acquisition Experience with MATLAB for data analysis, simulation
and visualization Understanding of fundamental control system
theory and stability analysis Experience in developing and
deploying real-time algorithms to embedded platforms using
fundamental digital signal processing methods/techniques Experience
converting concepts into technical requirements and describe the
associated tradeoffs Knowledge of digital filter theory and
practice Ability to resiliently adapt to rapidly changing
constraints and requirements, while maintaining the highest
performance standards Demonstrated creativity, self-motivation, and

compensation is thoughtfully tailored to your skills, experience,
education, and location, and goes beyond base salary. The hiring
range for this position in the primary work location of Framingham,
Massachusetts is: $119,600-$164,450.The hiring range for other Bose
