Job Summary: This position is responsible for overseeing utility services projects for Electrical Distribution and Transmission, Substations.

Responsibilities:

Oversee project labor force.

Responsible for budgets, schedules and customer communications.

Develop project execution plan in accordance with the contract documents.

Act as the customer's main contact.

Develop and maintain the project master budget and project schedule.

Keep management informed of any problem area, especially those that may have financial impact.

Provide status reports on all projects to the customer.

Provide follow-up with all customers to gauge satisfaction with services and gather input for possible improvements.

Track all change orders and ensure prompt closeout of all projects assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years' project management experience in utility or construction utility required.

Ability to organize and manage multiple project assignments.

Must have strong analytical, verbal, written and communication skills.

Must be highly motivated and self-directed.

Ability to work in and with a team to deliver quality, consistently.

Strong computer skills including MS Office (particularly Excel) required.

Knowledge of MS Project, Primavera, and AUTOCAD a plus.

Education:

BS in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical), Construction Management or related field required.
