OverviewProjected to open in October 2025, Hopewood Recovery
Center will offer treatment for Substance Use Disorder to women
needing treatment at the American Society of Addiction Medicine
(ASAM) 3.5 Residential Treatment Level of Care. Located near South
Boston, Virginia, on our tranquil 200-acre campus, Hopewood
Recovery Center will provide trauma focused treatment in a serene
setting, well suited for recovery. We are now searching for team
members committed to helping others improve their lives.The Manager
of Human Resources is responsible for all phases of human resources
within a facility to include recruiting and selection, onboarding,
new hire orientation and payroll processing. Responsible for
compensation, employee relations and worker's compensation.
ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage the day to day HR functions for the facility.
- Interpret HR policies for staff and respond to staff at all
levels of the organization.
- Translate complex information and provide highly specialized
advice in a specific Human Resources discipline.
- Serve as known expert in subject matter with a broad knowledge
and understanding of HR functional areas.
- Manage and implement corporate and local Human Resources
programs to fulfill state and federal policies and
regulations.
- Identify data needed for reports and ensure reports accurately
capture and present information appropriate to the audience.
- Communicate information to all levels of the facility,
including leadership, staff and other community members.
- Responsible for leading, motivating and assessing diverse
teams, including experienced and junior professionals.
- May lead projects that impact the facility at the request of
leadership or corporate Human Resources.
- Responsible for compensation, employee relations and worker's
compensation.
- Provide staff management to include hiring, development,
training, performance management and communication to ensure
effective and efficient department operation.OTHER FUNCTIONS:
- Perform other functions and tasks as
assigned.QualificationsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business or related field
required.
- One to three years' previous experience in a Human Resources
leadership role with demonstrable knowledge of principles and
procedures for recruitment, selection, training, compensation and
benefits, labor relations and negotiation and human resources
information systems required.LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Professional certification in Human Resources preferred.While
