it.Compensation OverviewThe annual base salary range provided for
this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad
range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual
salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors,
including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the
skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the
candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our
comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also
eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.Salary
Range$101,300.00 - $167,000.00Target Openings1What Is the
Opportunity?This role is responsible for leading the strategy,
execution, and oversight of premium audit compliance. This critical
leadership role ensures audits are accurate, aligned with
regulatory requirements, and supported by robust internal controls
and company policies. Your insights will directly influence
corporate governance and risk management strategies.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership,
managers, auditors, regulatory bodies, BI Compliance and
cross-functional teams to drive audit integrity, strengthen
internal safeguards, and promote operational excellence.
You will have Strategic Oversight and Tactical Responsibilities
serving as the Premium Audit primary point of contact for areas
across the enterprise-including Product Development (Workers' Comp
and General Liability), Stat and Data Management, BI Compliance,
Claim Product, Residual Market, Controller Operations, Business
Process Management (BPM), BPM Premium Audit-Systems (PA Prod
support) and BI SP&E (capabilities)-for matters related to
state regulations, audit rules, performance standards, timeliness
expectations, premium audit system impact/defects and audit
noncompliance.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping a culture of compliance and
accountability while supporting the organization's long-term
success.What Will You Do?
- With limited oversight, facilitate and direct non-financial
market regulatory activities, including market conduct exams,
interrogatories, surveys, and data calls, in higher complexity
states/matters.
- Advise, consult, and provide training and education on matters
related to compliance with laws, regulations, applicable company
policies, and ethical behavior, while leveraging compliance-related
data and trends.
- Serve as the primary liaison with State Bureaus, fostering
ongoing communication through regular meetings, updates, and
collaborative engagements.
- Lead two compliance employees, fostering a culture of
accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation.
- Participates and/or initiates long and short term business
strategies for respective function (field, service centers, HOO) to
continually enhance operational effectiveness enabling a
competitive edge.
- Continually monitors activities of competition and acts
appropriately to position the organization out in front.
- Drive initiation, planning, approval process and execution of
new or existing projects and initiative that impact Field Regional
offices, Service Centers, working with PMO, HO Senior Leadership,
Finance, etc. to overcome obstacles and expedite project
process.
- Assesses current systems, best practices, quality, service and
staff making adjustments to ensure operations stays in line with
Business Insurance partner initiatives.
- Partner with business areas to develop and implement
operational and policy service strategies, policies and best
practices.
- Ensure effective utilization of these strategies, policies,
etc.
- Review and analyze financial and operational results to
monitoring operational effectiveness (i.e. timeliness,
productivity, quality, Voice of the Customer etc.) taking
corrective action as necessary.
- Provide analysis of management information to respective
stakeholders working with them on tactical and strategic measures
needed to improve results.
- Act in a collaborative capacity with Field Operations, etc. to
resolve problems/issues quickly. Establish priorities and make
workflow decisions.
- Assure that our contractual commitments are met.
- Manage and direct the effective implementation of new
technologies and the utilization of existing systems.
- Deploy systems, workflow, best practices, etc. changes and
enhancements ensuring adequate training, communications and
support.
- Establish and maintain positive and productive relationships
through on-going dialogue with , Field and Home Office leadership
team.
- Meet with them to assess operations performance and
identify/resolve issues/problems.
- Perform all necessary staff management functions to support
profit, growth and expense management goals.

- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Solid knowledge of Commercial Lines Insurance and Premium Audit
processes, including relevant systems and regulatory
requirements.

- Five years work experience in Finance, Operations or
