Part-Time HR Generalist
Boston, MA - Real Estate Development - $35-$40/hr - 20 hrs/week, Onsite 3x/week

A Boston-based real estate investment firm is seeking a Part-Time HR Generalist to join their dynamic corporate team.This role became available after the previous incumbent advanced into a new growth opportunity. While responsibilities were temporarily absorbed internally, we are now ready to bring in a dedicated HR professional. As the go-to HR point of contact, you'll be supporting a team of -45 employees across multiple states. This is an opportunity to build HR infrastructure and help scale a growing real estate firm.

Core Responsibilities:

• Own onboarding and compliance tasks: I-9s, background checks, drug screens
• Manage timesheets and assist with payroll preparation
• Serve as first-line support for employee questions on benefits, enrollment, etc.
• Oversee performance management process rollouts
• Support budgeting and HR analytics (employee costs, benefits spend)
• Maintain compliance across FL, SC, VA, and other states
• Administer employee changes and approvals (PAFs, pay adjustments)About You
  
  • 3+ years as an HR Generalist (benefits, payroll, compliance, employee support)
  • Self-motivated, confident, and able to work independently
  • Personable and collaborative-strong communicator at all levels
  • Experience with Paycom is a plus
  • Background in construction or real estate is a bonus
  • Tech-savvy with a sharp eye for systems, analytics, and detailRole Details
    
    • Schedule: 20 hours/week, 3 days onsite in Boston (flexible hours, e.g., 10am-2pm)
    • Compensation: $35-$40/hour
