world. Raytheon is seeking a talented and motivated Senior
Principal Systems Engineer to join our team within the Systems
Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Discipline, supporting the
LTAMDS and GhostEye Radars. This role offers a unique opportunity
to work across the full lifecycle of the product, from concept to
deployment. Every day will bring new challenges, requiring you to
collaborate across disciplines to troubleshoot issues, perform data
analysis, and implement solutions. Your contributions will directly
impact the success of mission-critical defense systems, and you'll
have a hands-on role in ensuring the entire system functions
seamlessly. What You Will Do: In this Senior Principal Systems
Engineer role, you will support the following types of activities:
Core Systems Engineering: Develop requirements and algorithms,
concepts of operations, and define system interfaces. Lead Testing
Efforts: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration,
and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world
environments. Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve
hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data
analysis and debugging. Modeling and Simulation: Develop and
execute models to predict system performance and support
verification and validation. Integrate Systems: Integrate hardware
and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality
and impact. Document and Communicate: Develop integration
documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and
effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
Perform Data Analysis: Conduct statistical and numerical analysis
of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance and
verify requirements. Present Findings: Present technical findings
and solutions to leadership and customers. Support Missions: Travel
as needed (up to 20%) to support mission execution at various
locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor
facilities, and customer locations. This role can be based out of
Tewksbury, Andover, or Marlborough MA or Pelham NH. Qualifications
You Must Have: Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science,
Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10
years of prior engineering experience. Experience with systems
software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems
integration, and/or systems test. Experience developing both
scripts and functions with MATLAB Active and transferable U.S.
government-issued security clearance is required prior to start
date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are
eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital
engineering tools. Experience with model-based engineering.
Experience in developing and managing requirements. Experience with
C++, Python, or similar Experience with generating technical
documentation, such as test plans, procedures, or technical
reports. Experience working in an integration lab, test facility,
or in the field, supporting integration and/or verification.
Experience with evaluating systems using simulated environments.
Experience interfacing with internal and external customers. What

role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a
good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
