offer. Title: Web Developer Reporting to: Manager, Business
Solution Job Summary This position is responsible for the
development, maintenance, and optimization of multiple WordPress
websites. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, responsive,
and engaging digital experiences that enhance consumer satisfaction
and support business objectives. The Web Developer will work
closely with developers, design, marketing and content teams to
ensure web properties are performant, secure, and aligned with
brand and usability standards. Responsibilities Develop, maintain,
and enhance WordPress websites, landing pages, and web applications
using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Improve website usability,
responsiveness, and performance to support strong consumer
engagement and satisfaction. Implement new features, page layouts,
and content updates in collaboration with marketing and design
teams, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Test, debug, and resolve
issues across browsers and devices to maintain reliable and
consistent web experiences. Integrate WordPress with external APIs
and data sources. Manage themes, plugins, and core WordPress
updates while following best practices for stability and
maintainability. Apply standard security practices, monitor
vulnerabilities, and support routine maintenance to keep websites
secure and stable. Support search engine optimization (SEO) and
accessibility best practices to improve visibility and usability
for all users. Manage staging environments and deploy sites and
updates efficiently. Monitor website analytics and user feedback to
identify opportunities for ongoing improvements and recommend
enhancements that drive engagement and conversion. Contribute ideas
for improving workflows, development practices, and site
functionality based on analytics, feedback, and industry trends.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Assume responsibilities for other projects as needed. Requirements
3–5 years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining
WordPress websites and web applications. Strong proficiency in
HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including responsive design techniques.
Working knowledge of PHP and WordPress architecture, including
custom themes and plugin configuration. Experience improving site
performance, load times, and cross-browser compatibility.
Comfortable working with designers, marketers, and content creators
in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment. Demonstrated
ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective
solutions independently. Understanding of user experience best
practices, accessibility standards, and basic SEO principles.
Ability to work under pressure with resiliency and flexibility.
Proficiency in independently managing deadlines and projects.
Strong communication skills with a focus on excellent customer
