• Support routine testing of plate-based assays such as ELISA, MSD, and AlphaLISA methods.
• Involve with routine testing of flow cytometry, cell-based assays, sample preparation, cell count and cell viability assays for different cell and gene therapy programs.
• Perform basic data acquisition and statistical analysis with clear and concise documentation in electronic lab notebooks and present to internal teams as necessary.
• Collaborate cross functionally across different teams (PD, AD and other external partners) to ensure timely delivery of data and information.
• Some weekend work/Holiday work is necessary for the job.
• Assist with lab organization and compliance with lab safety protocols.
• This position is lab-based and requires 80% lab testing and 20% sample/data managementEducation and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in lab sciences such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Material Science, Immunology, Biology, Molecular Biology or similar
  • Scientist: Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years')
  • OR Masters degreeIn some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • Hands-on experience with different immuno-based assays such as MSD, ELISA, AlphaLISA.
    • Hands-on experience and technical proficiency with mammalian cell culture, and aseptic techniques, flow cytometry, potency and PCR techniques.
    • Experience with or understanding robotic liquid handers (Hamilton or other) for automated sample preparation.
    • Understanding process development for cell and gene therapy products.
