About the Opportunity About the Opportunity: The Department of
Pharmacy and Health System Sciences in the School of Pharmacy &
Pharmaceutical Sciences in the Bouve College of Health Sciences has
a dynamic group of faculty and staff supporting the Doctor of
Pharmacy curriculum teaching, service and research endeavors of the
unit. Additionally the department is the home of the Pharmacy
Industry Fellowship program, a robust collaborative partnership of
multiple biopharmaceutical industry companies working together to
train healthcare professionals for careers in the industry. The
Department of Pharmacy and Health System Sciences is seeking an
Open Rank, Visiting Clinical Professor (52 week appointment) to
support their pharmaceutical industry fellowship program. This
position offers a unique opportunity to bring pharmaceutical
industry experience to an academic setting as an
Assistant/Associate/Full Visiting Professor with expertise in
Pharmaceutical Industry. The visiting professor will have the
opportunity to teach in the area of pharmaceutical industry, and
translate their experience for students into the classroom.
Additionally the position will work within the pharmaceutical
industry fellowship training program to support the outcomes and
goals of the program. This position is funded by a grant from an
outside source and the duration of the appointment is contingent
upon availability of funding from the grant. Area of Specialty:
Preferred areas of Pharmaceutical Industry experience include but
not limited to medical affairs, medical science liaison, medical
strategy, clinical scientist, pharmacovigilance, HEOR, regulatory
affairs, medical education in a US or Global setting.
Responsibilities: Teaching: Course teaching and development for
pharmaceutical industry related courses, as well as content related
to drug information & medical writing and drug developmental and
commercialization. Service: support for the Fellowship program
primarily & department of Pharmacy & Health System Sciences.
Scholarship: Based on individual interests and workload, suggested
to support scholarship of teaching and learning and fellowship
workforce outcomes. Responsibilities will include teaching
undergraduate and graduate courses, extensive service support for
the fellowship program and DPHSS, and opportunities for
scholarship. Qualified candidates must be prepared to work with
global student populations. Anticipated start date: July 1st 2026
or after. Qualifications: · Degree: Pharm.D., Ph.D., Health Science
Clinical Doctorate equivalent · Experience: at least 5 years or
equivalent of Pharmaceutical Industry experience Additional

Pay Range: 52-week Salary Ranges: Visiting Assistant Professor /
Assistant Clinical Professor: $120,000.00 - $139,000.00 | Visiting
Associate Professor / Associate Clinical Professor: $133,000.00 -
$152,000.00| | Visiting Professor/Clinical Professor: $148,000.00 -
$191,000.00 With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary
will depend on several factors, which may include your education,
experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well
as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the
role. Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to
change.
